The moment our plane touched down in Staniel Cay, we were greeted by Alan, who whisked us away on our private boat transfer to the island. From that very first moment, we knew this trip would be unforgettable.

Sweetwater Villa: Our Home for the Week

Just the two of us stayed in the Sweetwater Villa, which actually accommodates up to six guests—spacious, beautifully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly want. The fridge and cupboards were filled with food, snacks, and drinks tailored to our preferences. The service throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional.

Dining That Exceeded Every Expectation

Breakfast was always a delightful surprise, and one morning we even cooked in the villa’s fully equipped kitchen. Lunch was customized daily and packed for us to take on our private speedboat—complete with a cooler full of our favorite drinks. These weren’t ordinary lunches either… we’re talking lobster sandwiches and fresh, flavorful meals that made every day feel special.

Dinner was a highlight every single night. The chef went above and beyond, preparing 5‑star dishes that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Honestly, we’d go back just for the dinners alone.

Evenings at Hill House

Each evening, Hill House offered appetizers, cocktails, and a chance to socialize with the other guests. The views from this hillside restaurant were absolutely stunning—sunsets, ocean breezes, and that relaxed island charm you can’t find anywhere else.

Island Adventures & Pure Relaxation

Fowl Cay offers the perfect mix of adventure and serenity. The resort features a pool, a private guest‑only beach, and plenty of included watersports. We had a golf cart to explore the island, and we highly recommend hiking to the secluded private beach.

One of the most memorable parts of our stay was spending time with the island dogs, Rosie and Roelle. They joined us on hikes, morning runs, swims in the ocean, and even an afternoon paddleboard session. In the evenings, we’d sit outside, listen to the waves, stargaze, and relax with the pups by our side.

Your Own Private Boat—The Ultimate Perk

Having a private boat for the entire week was an experience we’ll never forget. We visited sandbars, enjoyed picnic lunches on the water, swam with the pigs, explored Iguana Island, and soaked in the endless shades of turquoise that make the Exumas so famous.

Staying a full week is absolutely worth it—there’s so much to see and do.
